Gel contact lenses act as a protective shield on the cornea. They act as a bandage on the damaged surface of the eye and significantly accelerate the healing of the cornea and improve the patient's comfort, preventing contact of the damaged cornea with the eyelids.

Recommendations for:

Famineal ulceration: to reduce pain and stop the tear film on the ulcerated area to promote healing.
